Analyst Relations Program Manager

• The Analyst Relations Program Manager is a mid-level, external facing role that requires a unique blend of telecommunication industry exposure, understanding of the underlying technology, experience with the technology analysts’ ecosystem and ability to project manage marketing programs.
• The person must have a strong inclination towards technology and business consulting skills, they need to:
1. understand end customer needs, both carrier and enterprise customers
2. understand the analyst ecosystem
3. understand the competition in the service provider space
• This person will build the program to gain and retain the share of mind from various analyst by building and driving an integrated communication program
• The position represents the voice of the analysts within the company, by being able to communicate with these stakeholder within the company:
1. Senior management to present the program and help craft the outreach strategy
2. Product management and other subject matter experts to define the messaging framework
3. Corporate/Product marketing to define the program requirements and execution support

Create the framework of our analysts influence program based on our objectives and based on a deep understanding of the industry analyst ecosystem.
Define the core messaging framework and initial messages layers for all our products
Build the analyst influence program
Craft our analysts’ strategy in conjunction with other groups – product marketing, corporate marketing, strategy team, etc.
Make the business case to allocate resources for the program
Build a tiered analyst database and matching it with resources
Create organizational linkages and awareness around the program
Define the measurement criteria to track program performance
Execute the program
Build the program elements based on our communication needs
Collaborate with other internal groups to gain the execution support
Manage the external agency resources
Periodically review the program success and publish metrics

• Superior business consulting skills
• Technology consulting experience with top tier analyst firm – 3 years +
• Product/service management experience
• Positive, high-energy, the ability to energize others, integrity, passion, leadership
• Superior communication skills


• MBA from a tier 1 (top 20) program and at least 5 years total experience
• Knowledgeable in telecom network & managed service technology
• Engineering degree or product work experience a strong plus
• International experience
• This position is located in the US, preferably Northern VA.
