Graduation Details for NoVA 08 Alumni
We at McIntire are starting to work seriously on May graduation planning, so we need to know if you’re planning on coming! I need to put in orders for your academic regalia (cap, gown, and hood) very soon, so please email me no later than Monday, March 2nd, to let me know if you’re planning on being here. My plan is to have the regalia available for you to pick up at the Bechtel Center during NOVA ’09 class days in April and early May.
Plans are still being formed, but the basics of Sunday, May 17th, are these:
8-8:30ish – Breakfast for all graduates (C’ville ’09 and NOVA ’08) in Robertson Hall; getting everyone into their regalia
9:30 – Walk to Poe Alley to line up for the procession
10:00 – Lawn procession and graduation ceremony begins
Approx. 12:00 – McIntire diploma ceremony begins (location TBA, but we’re hoping for the Lawn!)
Much more information to come, but again, please respond no later than next Monday to say if you plan to attend. And please let me know if you have any questions.
Regards,
Ben
