This spring, the McIntire School of Commerce will offer a one-day executive program designed to provide business leaders with a cutting-edge learning experience focused on the management of information technology. The 2013 Knowledge Continuum, which will be held in Rouss & Robertson Halls, the School’s state-of-the-art facilities in the heart of the University of Virginia’s “academical village,” will take place April 5, 2013.
McIntire faculty members Ahmed Abbasi, Stefano Grazioli, Ryan Nelson, and Barb Wixom and Executive-on-Grounds Dan Elron will introduce program participants to the latest approaches to leadership, innovation, architecture, emerging technologies, project management, business analytics, and social media. Learning will be accomplished through case studies, research reports, interactive classroom discussions and exercises, and networking with other participants, including alumni of the School’s M.S. in MIT Program.
The cost of the Knowledge Continuum, which covers tuition, program materials, and meals, is $1,000. A nonrefundable deposit of $500 per participant is required by Feb. 5, 2013. The balance must be paid by March 22, 2013, to guarantee a seat in the program. Space is limited; reservations/deposits are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
